Thank you for choosing our emergency food kits. We want you to feel confident in your purchase. Please read this policy carefully, as it governs returns, refunds and our responsibilities regarding food-based products.
1. Return Window
You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your order to initiate a return request for your MRE kit. After the 30-day period, we unfortunately cannot offer a return or refund unless otherwise required by law.
2. Eligibility for Return
To qualify for a return:

The item must be in the same condition that you received it: unopened, unused, with the factory seal intact, and packed in the original packaging.

You must provide proof of purchase (order number, receipt or email confirmation).

The product must not have been opened, heated (in the case of self-heating packs), tampered with or consumed.

Because these are food products (emergency rations), we cannot accept returns of items that have been opened, partially consumed, or show signs of use (for health, safety and regulatory reasons).

You must contact us before sending any return. Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.
3. Return Process & Free Return Label

To start a return, please contact us at contact@survivalprepfoods.com. Please include your order number, date of receipt, and reason for return.

Once your return is accepted, we will email you a pre-paid return shipping label along with instructions on how and where to send the package. The return shipping cost will be covered by us under this policy.

Please follow the shipping instructions carefully. Package the product securely to prevent damage in transit.

Please note: You are responsible for ensuring the moved package retains tracking and is properly sealed for safe transport. We cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
4. Inspection & Refund Processing

Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria above (unopened, unused, correct packaging, etc.).

We will notify you by email as soon as we’ve received your return and whether your refund has been approved or not.

If approved, your refund is automatically issued to your original payment method within 5 business days from the moment we accept and inspect the return.

Please keep in mind: it may take additional time for your payment provider or bank to process and post the funds.

5. Damages, Defects & Wrong Items

Upon delivery, please inspect your order immediately. If you receive items that are defective, damaged, spoiled, or if we shipped the wrong item, contact us immediately at contact@survivalprepfoods.com

In such cases, we will evaluate the situation and, if approved, we will cover return shipping and issue a full refund or replacement according to your preference.

Because these are food items with strict safety standards, we ask you to photograph any visible damage or spoilage and retain packaging for our assessment.
6. Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items

Because of the nature of emergency rations and food safety regulations, opened or partially consumed items cannot be returned.

Products that have been unsealed, self-heating packs activated, or storage conditions compromised are ineligible.

Sale items, clearance items, or gift cards are non-returnable (unless otherwise specified).

If you believe you have received a contaminated or unsafe product, please contact us immediately — we’ll treat that as a defect/quality issue rather than a standard return.
7. Handling, Storage & Shelf Life Considerations

Our MRE kits are manufactured under strict standards, but you are responsible for storing them in accordance with the instructions provided (e.g., dry environment, away from excessive heat or direct sunlight) to preserve shelf life and safety.

Return eligibility may be affected if it is evident that the product was stored improperly or damaged as a result of mishandling after delivery.
8. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange for a different product, the fastest option is to return the original item (according to this policy) and place a separate purchase for the desired new item once you receive confirmation that your return is accepted.
